A useful distinction
An agreement may point to additional programme policies. Those documents can contain details not repeated in the main text. A reading record is incomplete if it lists the main agreement but ignores the documents it expressly includes.
Put it into practice
Note each referenced document and its effective version. Check that the official link is current and belongs to the actual programme. Keep a question list for unclear or conflicting text, using qualified advice where necessary rather than inventing a convenient interpretation.
