Use Synthetic Examples Without Earnings Promises

An illustration should explain a calculation, not predict a result.

Independent educational journal ยท October 7, 2026

A blank notebook and linked planning cards beside a closed laptop on a sunlit desk; a fictional illustration.

A useful distinction

A fictional report can help show how a denominator or status works. Its numbers are chosen for explanation and do not represent a real account or typical outcome. A realistic-looking chart can otherwise imply evidence it does not contain.

Put it into practice

Label the example at the point where the numbers appear and state what it demonstrates. Avoid invented testimonials, screenshots attributed to real people or guaranteed earning claims. Keep the educational calculation separate from an invitation that suggests readers will achieve the same figures.
