Ordered and Shipped Items Are Different Report States

The stage of the transaction matters.

A useful distinction

An order-related report and a shipment-related report can describe different events. Their totals need not align within the same calendar window. The provider’s definitions explain which event belongs in each view.

Put it into practice

Use the programme’s current reporting help and note the relevant state beside each total. Label examples as synthetic and avoid treating an order as a final payable commission. Keep cancellations, fulfilment and any later adjustments in their own reporting context.
